Grace and peace to you

Ephesians 1:1-2

As I read the letter to the church of Ephesus I'm reminded to extend grace and peace.  We're all unique and we all make mistakes so it's important to forgive.  Jesus said we are to forgive seventy times seven times.  This however, should be done with wisdom.  Forgiveness doesn't mean we stay in a place of abuse; it means we surrender our right to getting even.  Sometimes this type of forgiveness can not be done in our own power as Corrie Ten Boome testifies.  Sometimes the only way to forgive is to ask for God's help.  My prayer for you is for grace and peace.

He came to us!

Ephesians 4:9-10 What a remarkable story.  Jesus left all the advantages of heaven and came to us in human form.  What a gift.  He learned what it was like to be human and showed us how to live as humans.  Then God raised Him up so that He can intercede on our behalf and left the Holy Spirit with us so we can be unified with the gifts here on earth.  Let's make Him proud of us.

Remember the fight is not against people

Ephesians 6:12-13 This is a powerful section of scripture.  In it we're remind that our struggle is not against flesh and blood.  The evil one will use our relationships so be careful.  Watch out for the lies of the enemy and put on the full armour of God so you can stand firm under the enemy's attacks.  Lord Jesus, please help us to be wise. Thanks for your armour of protection.  Thanks for reminding us to wear it.
